This Low-Fat Honey Mustard Dressing packs a lot of flavors, and no preservatives, into its 61 calories!

    Low-Fat Honey Mustard Dressing

The story behind, Low-Fat Honey Mustard Dressing

Low-Fat Honey Mustard Dressing. It's perfect for my Salmon Salad Nicoise or to use as a dip for some chicken tenders

My son's favorite salad to make is a knock-off of one that is famously served at Applebee's Restaurants; Their Chinese Chicken salad is a  salad of shredded white cabbage, almonds, Chinese noodles, and sliced fried chicken tenders. The dressing alone has 210 calories with 18 grams of fat; as served the salad has 1390 calories and 98g fat.

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, that's one HUGE salad!

    So...

"See how much fat and calories you saved by making it yourself? And money too!"

This dressing is so easy to make yourself. Put everything into a bowl and whisk it up. Taste and adjust flavors as you want them. More mustard? Sure. More mayo? Add more. Salt? Pepper? Up to you. Prefer thyme to tarragon? Use thyme. It's easy to adjust to your own taste.

LindySez, If you are craving an Oriental Chicken Salad, you don't need to go to Applebees. Get up, get out of there, go home, and make it yourself. Even if you buy the chicken tenders already made (and they sell them everywhere now, I'm quoting Safeway's chicken tender info here) they are only 210 calories with 10g fat for 2 tenders. See how much fat and calories you saved by making it yourself? And money too!

Well now, that's a good question you ask. A serving is 2 tablespoons of dressing. I will add that to the information box. Thanks for pointing out it was missing. I guess at 61 calories per serving, they just put on as much as they wanted LOL...Enjoy!
